As 2024 came to a close, we are proud to reflect on a year of innovation, growth, and continued dedication to supporting the housebuilding industry. The year marked a significant milestone for ContactBuilder as we celebrated our 15th anniversary. Over the past decade and a half, we’ve been committed to delivering a cutting-edge solution that simplifies processes, enhances the customer journey and delivers sales for the new homes sector. 

 

Although it was a challenging year for the property industry, with continued uncertainty as mortgage rates and house prices rose, we’ve been with our clients every step of the way.  

 

In 2024, we introduced 27 system enhancements including:   

 

Expanded aftercare features 

We introduced several new features to our aftercare module, including warranty expiry, new ticket statuses, and sources. These enhancements provide a more comprehensive aftercare management system, ensuring no aspect of customer support is overlooked. 

 

Created a new customisable dashboard  

We introduced a fully customisable dashboard that empowers users to create a workspace tailored to their specific needs. By adding and managing widgets, users can access the most relevant information at a glance, driving efficiency and productivity. 

 

Streamlined options and extras selection 

We enhanced the ability to select choices on stock plots, simplifying the process for sales teams and purchasers alike. This improvement ensured that personalising a home is seamless and intuitive, enhancing customer satisfaction. 

 

Improved internal communication with new notifications  

To aid collaboration between teams, we added a functionality that notifies internal staff via email when key reservation or housing association application steps are completed. This feature keeps teams informed and aligned throughout the purchase process.   

 

Professional SMS Messaging via Alpha ID 

We introduced the ability to send SMS messages from an alpha ID, enabling branded, professional communication directly to customers. This feature strengthens engagement and reinforces brand identity. 

 

Enhanced our Campaign Monitor integration 

Our integration with the marketing email platform Campaign Monitor received a significant upgrade, offering better performance and additional filtering options. These enhancements make it easier than ever to execute targeted, effective email marketing campaigns.  

 

New ‘Completion Statement’ form 

We developed a new ‘Completion Statement’ form, streamlining the handover process and providing customers with a clear, professional summary of their new home. This addition reflects our commitment to improving the end-to-end customer experience. 

 

Launched our brand-new LinkedIn Newsletter 

In 2024, we launched our Beyond the Bricks LinkedIn Newsletter; published monthly, our releases keep you up to date with all of the latest housing market news. Subscribe now and receive our next release straight to your inbox!  

 

Looking ahead to 2025 

Servicing the housebuilding industry for over 15 years means we know that you need a solution that works for you, that’s why we listen to your feedback to further enhance the platform that you use daily. In 2024 we made 296 changes and improvements, many suggested by our clients, and all of which were rolled out within five working days of request, 33% within just one day.
